QUASH: QUAntum Sensing for Humanity
California NanoSystems Institute
UCLA Campus
The Quantum Sensing for Humanity event brings together builders and users of
quantum sensors for a discussion on the utility of these revolutionary concepts and
devices. Sensors, in general, consist of devices and systems that interact with the
environment and provide a measurable response. Introducing quantum mechanical
phenomena to sensor technology will affect our decisions about the water we drink
and the air we breathe based on the best possible data synthesized by quantum
sensors operating at the limit of the laws of physics.
